The Saudi Standardization, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) were established dated 16 April 1972.
Every consignment of imported goods (regulated products) must be accompanied by a Certificate of Conformity in order to clear any shipment at Saudi Customs. BQC is approved and authorized as a Notification and Certification Body (CB) by SASO for issuing Conformity Certificates.
